The Delicious Dish

Earlier this year, my buddy Blaise (pronounced Blaze) solicited advice from former college roommates to help him name a project he was working on. He had decided to make a hip cooking website, something different than the Stepford Wife barefoot in the kitchen stuff that’s already out there.

I’m convinced my college roommates need to all quit what we’re doing now so we can reunite and form a powerful advertising agency. Here are some suggested names for websites that we came up with:

Somewhere along the way, Blaise found the most perfect name for a cooking website ever. It is a name that conjures up the parallel imagery of heavy metal music along with cast-iron pots and pans. It is a tribute to Guns n’ Roses, a band that rocks your face, and it is now a premiere Internet destination, a place that rocks your taste. I present you with:

Check out the website. I think it’s gonna be great. They’ve just started, and they don’t have everything set up quite yet, but they’ve got a beautifully shot video for a Radish Salad and the recipe will be up soon. Bookmark it and keep checking back.

Also, in midst of this delicious brainstorming session, Justin wrote the single most brilliant idea I have ever heard in my life: “Can we scratch cooking altogether and start a tailor shop called: James Tailor’s Greatest Fits?”
