The Hat Trick

Honestly, how did Cal Ripken do it? He played 2,632 straight games and I was decommissioned from work today with a case of the common cold.

Despite feeling like my head was going to explode, I was still able to pull off a half-day at the office and set my own personal record at home— the Netflix hat trick. I watched three movies in one day. I bet Cal Ripken never did that.

Unfortunately, I did not have the foresight to plan my movies ahead as the sickness hit me with the quickness.I was stuck with a couple of movies I had placed in my queue a while ago because I had never seen them before and wanted to get around to them eventually.

Driving Miss Daisy was first. Ed Wood was second. The Front was third.

I’m going to take some NyQuil before I try to hit for the cycle.
