DJ MegaPickles

Last evening, I had my first professional DJ gig. Actually, I wasn’t technically DJing in a professional capacity, but my place of employment was having a 1 year anniversary for the campus division and I somehow managed to secure being in charge of the itunes playlist. So, if you think all of that makes me a legitimate pro DJ, then I’m more DJ than DJ Tanner.
Actually, I decided that my DJ name is DJ MegaPickles (I just Googled it. No hits. I call dibs!). Last time something like this happened, I claimed that my rapping monniker was MC Esher and everybody said I was a biter.
I think the DJ gig went well, though I don’t really think anybody was listening. At one point, a friend dared me to put on my own track (featuring MC Esher) to see if anybody would notice. Nobody noticed. I even started rapping along to it, and went up to a girl at the bar to see if she’d heard this “hot new track.” She hadn’t heard of “him”. The music business is rough. I do weddings and bar mitzvahs.
I don’t know how you can post that without posting your track…
