I made a dopetastic Mother’s Day Mix for 2K6 and ran to the post office with plenty of time to spare on Friday afternoon. Having addressed the envelope “To: Mom” and paying for the overnight express, I was pretty sure the USPS would deliver the gift to my mommy even if they had to endure rain, snow, sleet, and hail. Instead, my moms got a post-it note saying they attempted to drop the envelope off on Saturday afternoon.

Well… Mom, since I know you’re one of 3 actual people that read this blog, I’ll go ahead and post part of the mix for your listening pleasure. Just download it and throw it on your iPod after you’re done updating your myspace page and making drum n’ bass remixes of Dixie Chicks songs on GarageBand. I’m kidding. Just wait for the CD.

But for the rest of you who want 10 minutes of music, check it out. I included some Avett Brothers, Shangri-Las, and Jens Lekman. Apologies in advance for my voice on the mix. Some people have a face for radio. I guess I have a voice for paintings.
