My computer has been sent to Apple for the third time for repairs. Apologies for the lack of updates on this site, but the creative part of my brain is on that hard drive.
If they don’t send it back to me by the end of the week (it’s already been 10 days), I am posting the video I made that documents how poorly the machine was wired. It’s tough to be a Mac elitist when your computer keeps breaking.

In the mean time:
- I watched Rivers & Tides, a documentary about artist Andy Goldsworthy’s amazing art. Lots of people had recommended this one to me. It’s the cinematic equivalent of Ambien, and that’s a compliment. It’ll put you to sleep and have you dreaming of geometric patterns in pinecones and fibonacci sequences in toaster waffles.
- This Gilbert Arenas / Transformers mashup video is the combination of so many awesome things and is a clear example why a more liberal application of copyright law could lead to so many awesome user-created things. Furthermore, If you’re not reading Gilbert’s blog, you need to. Props to Gilbert for also prominently featuring a typewriter on his blog.
- I received my first mixtape from the International Mixtape Project. Well, not them, but from a member who was assigned my address. Now, I need to send a mixtape by the end of the month to a stranger in Indiana. This month’s assignment is to create a mixtape that follows the trajectory of your autobiography.
