You might recall a previous post on this blog, challenging all of the Mark Pikes in the world to a Google challenge. Well, the wife of one of the Mark Pikes chimed in recently with a comment on that post. It’s the best comment ever.

Hello Mark Pike’s of the google world! I am the wife of Major Mark Pike! I must admit…MY Mark Pike is the most handsome of all the Mark Pike’s!! He is safely home from the craziness of the war. He served with the 228th FSB in Iraq. He came home with the Bronze Star…. Look I could go on and on to tell you HE is the #1 Mark Pike!! ha! One more thing…We always have a good laugh at what people mistakenly call him…. Mike Park, Mike Pike…People….it is easy…MARK PIKE!! Mark Pike…I love your sense of humor! Thanks! Paisha Pike…wife of Mark Pike #1!!

Thanks so much for leaving a comment on my blog! It’s wonderful to hear news from the other Mark Pikes out there. I’m so happy to hear that Major Mark Pike made it home safely, and I want to offer him my sincere thanks for serving our country. And congratulations on the bronze star! You truly bring honor to our name, but more than that, our nation.

At the suggestion of Paisha, we shall bestow Major Mark Pike with the title of #1 Mark Pike. Perhaps I’ll make a trophy? Send me an address and I’ll make one. Though, I must admit that I suspect you have some some bias about him being “the most handsome.”

We’ve got some up and comers making waves! There is a Mark Pike in Central Kentucky who is aiming for the top spot. Also, there is a Mark Pike in Whitesboro, TX who has a son that is playing college baseball. We are making News.

Unfortunately, the geniuses at Google continue to recognize my old blog (which I refuse to link to) as the #1 site for Mark Pike information, despite it now being taken over by spam-spewing robots.
